Also most TN panels, also some IPS panels. It is simply not possible. Most are "i got it, i'm satisfied, 5 stars". I can see boxes where the color changes in videos. Color settings according to one of the top rated amazon comments: Dell has only recently added gaming screens to its large number of monitor offerings. But this is driving me crazy.

My recommendation: Return the Dell, get the Acer XB241YU, and use the Gamma setting in the OSD. If this Banding bothers you with the Dell, take the Acer. I have not seen one user, who has zero Color Banding. I have not seen one user, who has zero Color Banding.
So, I've heard about the terrible color banding on this monitor with the earlier revisions, which has reportedly improved (maybe all gone?)
