But Garnet Canyon is truly one of the great American mountain canyon hikes and anyone reading your post who doesn’t feel up to a summit hike should at least spend the day hiking up Garnet. It’s fairly obvious though and requires no scrambling. Grand Teton National Park has always felt inaccessible, but after hiking Teewinot a few days ago, and realizing both Middle Teton and South Teton were Class 3 mountains, the Tetons are feeling a bit more reasonable.
