But, if they have not gone through the connect process or have set the facebook visibility setting to ‘private’ (this is done as soon as you connect or in the My Account/Profile and guestbook visibility settings section), the rest of the users won’t see any details apart from the ‘f’ next to their name on the friends list. But I’m sure that like alot of promises, we were misquoted.

I am one of those people who have never been on one of these sites, but *knows* I never will want to. There are a bunch of places the integration shows up and in some cases it’s completely automatic.

While I use both Pogo and Facebook, I still do not appreciate when sites roll out personal information without the user’s consent. Im bummed about that because I have been able to reconnect with people I grew up with and make plans to get together. The higher-ups at EA seem to be really, really into the potential traffic and monetary benefits to Facebook and other social networking connections.
