Yma Sumac recorded an extraordinarily wide vocal range of slightly over four octaves from E2 to B♭7. It's an admittedly special kind of release, but for a certain clientele only.

Sumac had a notable vocal range, of nearly five octaves.
She was able to sing notes in the low baritone register as well as notes above the range of an ordinary soprano. Sumac sings on the album, accompanied by ethnic percussion and musical variations influenced by the music of Peru.

I recommend it wholeheartedly to Exotica listeners who are wary of vocal tracks, even those who are put off by Sumac's voice after a short pre-listening glimpse.
