In the summer it is fisable virtually any tide, in winter it can come all the way up the ledge so fishing is impossible!! It’s a bit of a trek from the car park, especially on the way back up the hill!!! You have to be fairly fit to get down to the actual ledge but even that final climb is too much still well worth the visit. It's not that high (around 3m) but there's no support, it's just rocky wall down.
