Was this review helpful? Could be Thale but thats hortibly explainedThe only two things that bugged me were Rowan's behaviour (I figure we'll get an explanation eventually, I blame mold on cult ship) but mostly the body swap. Woof. If you like sci-fi and horror give it a shot. People don't communicate with each other or act logically and of course everything goes wrong because of it. The mysterious destructive force plaguing the characters also ends up leveling the series. You're telling me these people are earths finest? 71 out of 89 found this helpful. The deliberately insane-making series could have done with less of an ongoing homage to Stanley Kubrick's classic The Shining and other masters of horror.Nightflyers is a plodding derivative mess that never seems interested in giving its viewers anything to care about. That's the thing about Nightflyers: We're confined to the ship, while its most fascinating threads unspool elsewhere. In fact it's so ordinary they just stand in it, go about their business and never give it a second thought. Lacks coherence.
It has everything one wishes for, a mysterious alien entity, a great cast, a voyage in a spaceship, a matrix, VR, horror, suspense, mindcontrol, gore, moments of sadness, moments of fear, a great character building and the longer you watch, the better you understand the interconnected and interwoven storylines. Was this review helpful? I get Karl and Rowan are probably long-time friends, and they probably selected Mel from a mail-order space-bride catalog. It never actually helped them in their research.
It never actually helped them in their researchHe built the device with it and it completely motivated him from the minute it arrived.Agatha as the Therapist and minder for Thale, also made no sense. It took bee-lady to teach Thale to filter out the feedback he gets and to process it in a more positive way, as you can only control your own actions and reactions to things. This is like basic psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy 101... and this bitch failed to teach that to him in their supposedly YEARS of knowing eachother, as she walked around dumbfounded and failed to do her ONE job in keeping this supposedly vital crew member in check.Just finished watching the show, so I'm all hopped up on fan theories.
Why, why, why? The crew makes no sense at all. Lommie returns to Greywing.D'Branin pushes ahead with his plan. Chock full of dumb characters making dumb decisions, NIGHTFLYERS aims to go where no one has gone before...in making us want to pull our hair out. Nightflyers: Season 1 Episode 5 Sneak Peek - Where's the Wound? But, this is one of his very initial works, so can't blame him either. Nightflyers: Season 1 Episode 7 Sneak Peek - Milkshake I'm not doing it! Unfortunately it's a cool looking visual bad storytelling.
Air date: Dec 2, 2018 i saying to myself "at last something new" but i need to be honest it's terrible! The ship nearly crashes the moment they try to leave earth due to a malfunction but instead of postponing to see what went wrong while still in reach of earths full technical resources they just ignore it and blast away anyway. I "try" to watch this tv show and have fun The ship has a higher chance of survival than the human body, and it also has much more potential for power (only a part of her was locked up, and she could have kept lommie locked up, freeing herself to control systems - without taking the body)Again, hoping all explained in further seasons. Rowan processes his grief. ::: Very good question. The scene where Mel sits beside Lommie and Lommie sees her father in the chair, but Mel doesn't react.

Makes total sense to me. Air date: Dec 11, 2018 Even by itself it seems like a huge security risk to let an ordinary passenger interface with the ship computer, and then considering Eris was trying so hard to hide that Cynthia was in there...How did no one of the twenty-or-so crew on the bridge notice that the terraform was collapsing? Assumed connection with bees is either just normal beekeeper tricks (having the swarm on her) or future tech stuff (bees going to her grave)Cynthia's dad is in there because the house is a representation of her mind and she's gone a bit crackers. The show does a terrible job at explaining how exactly Cynthia is doing all her magic stuff, and what the difference is between Cynthias powers and Thales powers.=They did this on purpose.
