But I will always differ to kindness even in the face of charges of “sexism.”) But we were all like zombies, clawing our way out of our planes, into the airport, infesting the city in a deluge. Of self-reflection. But I’m serious about not wanting to spoil the show. Which, I’m fine with as well. And I know that my body, as it is now, really is the only thing I have left, and when that gets old and un-fuckable I may as well just kill it. I mean, who among us hasn’t been there? The one that gifts her Stephanie. But there may be many women who are like me, who had a damaging mother and gravitate towards men for friendship. The season had a total of 25 half-hours of material, divided into 16 half-hour episodes, five 40-minute "super-sized" episodes, and two one-hour episodes. The cosmically big things.Then, at the end of the season, Fleabag heads back to the shop, feeds the hamster, and is about to walk into traffic in order to commit suicide. But I choose to see the divine in this Fleabag, and just go ahead and try to convince me otherwise.

Fleabag’s character (who is never named) is a scabrous, hypersexualised version of her character Lulu in the Channel Four series Crashing (also conceived and written by Waller-Bridge), albeit much more provocative, damaged, and even more blackly hilarious.

As a coping mechanism she continually talks to the screen, and also envisions Boo talking back to her in the midst of her struggles. Fleabag originally comes from a one woman standup show, and has been adapted for screen by Phoebe from there.
But we could also flip back through history as well in order to really see what man’s inhumanity to man really is capable of. Yet, we’re all expected to be on top of these things. Though I have a fairly even mix of male & female friends, there is something that bit closer and more intense with my closest female friends – probably because as females we share experiences that bond us, in a way that is hard to share with a man.This is also why I think that if people should be able to get a relationship visa for someone they’ve dated for a year, I should be able to get one for my best friend of 10 years! I am a failure of a human.Which is the fascinating part for me.
