Module level: 7 Module credits: 30 credits Course Details Develop your nursing or AHP skills to deliver same-day consultation services for patients - or enhance your existing skills by improving your decision-making and becoming more confident in offering treatment and referrals. Advanced level practitioners (ACPs) are from a range of professional backgrounds such as nursing, pharmacy, paramedics, occupational therapy, healthcare science and midwifery. 12 weeks. Registration for Advanced Clinical Skills Centre courses are managed by the University's Centre. This includes learning to put anxious or difficult patients at ease quickly and identifying phobias (eg, needles) and other issues before they become significant barriers to treatment.Our students are taught resuscitation using purpose-designed simulation mannequins, with every action recorded by camera and copied to DVD for subsequent appraisal. Our Faculty is teeming with expertise and primed to meet the demand for creating health professionals, teachers, doctors, scientists and educators for the three districts we serve: Chelmsford, Cambridge and Peterborough.We have been training undergraduates for professional roles for over 25 years, with a reputation for quality, dedication and ambition balanced with student satisfaction.
