She takes a couple steps back and then sweeps her weapon in a downward arc, creating a forceful dusty wind to block Blake and allow her to disappear. BlackSun is the primary rival to BlackSun is believed to be Blake's second biggest ship and Sun's biggest. In season three, Sun is displayed in one of Blake's dreams, together with Neptune, Velvet, the shopkeeper, and a fish.
In " Of Runaways and Stowaways ", it is revealed that Sun has been following Blake after the Fall of Beacon instead of returning with his team to Mistral. It hits him in the chest with an electric charge, and he goes down. Annoyed, Ilia changes color to red skin with yellow blotches that match her hair and eyes before lashing her weapon at Sun.
Afterwards, Sun helps Blake fight Roman Torchwick and his White Fang thugs.
She finally stops to hold her ground. After Sun's victory in the tournament, he points to Blake in the stands and she blushes, affectionately calling him a dork. Blake turns around in time to see Ilia's cracked White Fang mask crumble away.
Blake cries out and Ilia points her weapon at her, demanding that she hand over the Scroll. Neptune comments that it feels like he's giving up on her but Sun corrects him in saying it was "never like that" and he's just happy to have been able to support Blake, because that was what she truly needed before anything else. Vol.
Right before this, Blake and Sun also briefly fight Adam together. She is just about to catch up to Blake when one of Sun's clones tackles her. Sun calls out a warning. Blake then turns her head and looks down to smile before running to help her teammates.
Sun asking Blake out on a date in RWBY Chibi (season one, episode 24)This ship sailed in the first volume and had a large push throughout the first five volumes. On Ao3 it is Blake's fourth most written-for ship and Sun's second.
Blake pauses and turns around but is urged by Sun to continue forward. Albeit considered non-canon, RWBY Chibi counts more than one BlackSun moment throughout its seasons. Ilia reacts in surprise, dodges Blake's next kick and lashes out with one of her own before moving to go after the Scroll.
Holding her hands over it, she calls out for someone to help them and tells Sun to hang on.
with Ruby and Yang at the start of their first day in their new dormitory and her wholehearted participation in the decoration of the room suggested that she was eager to be part of a team. They have tea together and Kali admits that she "likes him" (Sun) to Blake, to which Blake herself gets flustered. Ilia headbutts Sun to get him off her and races Blake to the Scroll. After Blake accidentally reveals she is a Faunus to her team, she flees and runs into Sun. Blake and Sun argue on the balcony outside Ghira Belladonna's study.
During this scene, the audience cheers loudly and even goes "aww/woo!" When Sun is later recovering from being stabbed by Ilia, Blake also calls him "my hero" in return, a callback to him rescuing her earlier in the volume. 3, 5, & 8–9 As Sun recovers, Blake reveals that she ran away from Team RWBY because she doesn't want anyone getting hurt because of her.
Sun catches Blake.
Sun is later introduced by Blake to her parents, Kali and Ghira.
Recognizing her, Blake narrows her eyes. Blake Belladonna is a member of Team RWBY. Undaunted, Blake refuses. First Blake and then Sun give chase.
Skin changing to green and blue with matching blue hair and eyes, Ilia tells Blake that she should not have returned. Blake also admits that she tends to describe people through just one word. Blake indirectly calls Sun a dork again during said vlog (reference to the blushing scene in Volume Three). Although Blake made a show of being aloof during the first night at Beacon, her enthusiastic cry of "Banzai!"
