Judge James Burke has been a Criminal Court Judge since 2001. She has been serving in Criminal Court. He was previously with the Kings County District Attorney's Office for nearly 12 years, having last served as Supervisor and Bureau Chief. He began his career with South Brooklyn Legal Services before becoming a senior attorney for the Legal Aid Society's Brooklyn Office for the Aging. He was subsequently appointed to the Criminal Court in September 2008.

Prior to her appointment, she served with the New York County District Attorney's Office, the New York City Law Department, and the Appellate Division's Departmental Disciplinary Committee. She served with the Legal Aid Society as a Supervising Attorney, worked for Queens Law Associates, and was a Principal Court Attorney to a Supervising Judge of the Criminal Court. She is a graduate of John Jay University and received her law degree from Cardozo School of Law.

Prior to her appointment Judge Wang served with the New York State Unified Court System for six years as a Principal Court Attorney in Supreme Court, Criminal Term, Bronx County. Prior to his appointment, Judge Iannece began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Bronx County District Attorney's Office and subsequently went into private practice, maintaining a general practice partnership, including criminal defense work, for 29 years. (Formerly appointed to the Interim Civil Court January 2013).Judge Raymond Rodriguez was appointed to the Criminal Court bench in December 2013. He is a graduate of SUNY Albany and received his J.D. from Catholic University.

Burke became involved in politics in the 1880s, and in the mid 1890s became involved in the In 1903 he ran against Hawley again and was initially defeated by three votes, but after a recount and a ruling by the state supreme court Burke was declared as the winner in May.In 1900 and 1902 he was selected as one of Burlington's delegates to the Vermont Democratic state convention, in 1904 he served as a delegate to the In 1929 he ran for mayor of Burlington and was defeated in a landslide by former mayor John Holmes Jackson with 3,425 votes to 2,354 votes.On May 4, 1943 Burke died in Burlington after a short illness and was buried at the Saint Joseph Cemetery in Burlington.
