They are a larger operation than you may think and quite a well oiled machine. It...We learned that Burano Island is well worth the 90-minute vaporetto ride on our first visit here in half a dozen trips to Venice. It was the only reason we went to Burano, and it was well worth the journey. When I got my food, I was so disappointed. Very nice and traditional restaurant with amazing food. and were able to get lunch here on our day trip to Burano. And dont forget to make reservation before you go , bellisima....A fine dining eatery establishment located in the colorful city of Burano.
The restaurant was recommended by American friends and we took the boat to Burano and were delighted with the whole experience. $62.80. We called day of and they had a table for us that night at 8 pm. Fantastic buzz, vibe, made you feel part of it without being intrusive. The coffee and my wife's dessert was outstanding and this was lunch, I can just imagine how much better dinner could be.Loved it!!!!! However, with a little persistence they shared that they would be able to fit us in before the end of the lunch shift and to return at a specific time. We also split the pappardelle scampi and YUM. Gatto Nero was recommended to us by our hotel and taxi driver if we were to go to Burano. Buon Giorno , sono lo chef del Gatto Nero, siamo chiusi alla domenica sera e Lunedi tutto il giorno . The cutest spot along the canal that offers really great service, food, and views. Best restaurant in the whole of Venice not only Burano. Professional amazingly courteous staff. The sauce wasn't even cooked into the pasta. They gave us a glass of prosecco and we ordered wine, grilled razor clams and scallops, pasta with spider crab, and John Dory. It depends on how many courses you eat. And the risotto.
Highly recommendedthe mussels were amazing, the sauces was very tasty. The place is pricey, but everything was so delicious. Now I also highly recommend this place!Amazing meal!! We ordered legumes and a dish came up....we were thinking ,”what’s that?” It turned out it was artichokes. We were seated outside although right next to the door. Would come back to Venice (Burano) to come here!!! My wife and I made reservations for lunch and we got a 2:30pm table. The food was great. Woah, this place was really good.

So delicious and flavorful, yet incredibly simple. He allowed me to use the restroom before we went on to do some sight-seeing. Service-incredible! We waited two hours for a table and were lucky enough to …

Trattoria al Gatto Nero. Very nice, personable owner. Try out the seafood spaghetti! This is honestly some of the best fish you'll have. We enjoyed being greeted with a glass of prosecco and ordered a bottle of a local white wine which was refreshing. Hands down. Woah, this place was really good. It was lunch time and found the small place, it was quite busy and we did not have reservations but they found a table for us.

I had spaghetti al pomodoro. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fun! Gatto Nero was my best gastronomical experience in Italy in 2015. A very popular place in the morning but for dinner it's nice and calming. The seating right on the canal is nice for people watching. The people at Gatto Nero love what they do , and this makes all the difference.

The wait staff was really lovely, they have a great wine list that is sorted by the regions of Italy and they give you a free basket of various breads to nibble on while you wait. Thank...We are not a big fan of risotto but it’s cooked to perfection. the general island of burano is quite charming and i would definitely recommend a visit while in When we arrived we were seated at a table outside with the most beautiful view of Burano overlooking a This place came recommended to us by the salesperson at Marco Polo glass in Had one of the great fresh wine and seafood dining experiences of my life at Al Gatto Nero on a recent vacation. Our server Max made the experience the best we had on our trip to Italy.
