I messed up on first day and thought I was supposed to meet her on the road in the city, not in the camp area, so she died the very next day. Well, to be fair, I did get that "stealing" ration scenerio ... And spoiler alerts here I suppose, since you mention it above .... The whole liz stealing rations happened but its never really brought up ever again after it happens.
